How it works

One topic. Two people. One voice conversation.

Loud am helps you find the right person to talk to about what's on your mind, and then gets out of the way.

  1. 1

    Share what's on your mind

Write what you want to talk about and who you'd like to talk to, pick a topic and a language.

Talk now, or choose a time later today or another day. Say how long you expect to talk: 15 minutes up to 1 hr 30 min.

  2. 2

    Someone takes the seat

Every conversation has one seat. With open joining, the first person who joins takes it.

With ask to join, people send you a short note and you choose who to talk to.

  3. 3

    Talk, voice only

You both enter a private room and allow your microphone. No video, no chat, just a one-to-one voice conversation.

Mute or leave whenever you like. The host can also end the conversation.

  4. 4

    A clear finish

The conversation lasts as long as you planned. You'll both get a heads-up at 5 minutes and at 1 minute left, then it ends on its own.

  5. 5

Stay connected, if you both want

Enjoyed it? Either of you can ask to connect afterwards. If you both agree, you can invite each other to talk again.

Nobody else can see your connections.

You stay anonymous

No email, no phone number, no photo. You pick a username and an illustrated avatar, and that's all anyone sees. You get a recovery key to sign back in on another device, so keep it somewhere safe.
